There are plenty of reason to get out of your hotel and enjoy the surrounding area. The city has an extensive trail system through the valley and in the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Las Vegas also claims one of the country’s premier mountain biking parks at Bootleg Canyon. You can also take a short trip outside the city to one of the world’s great engineering feats at Hoover Dam.
